Everything   started   in   1967 ,   when   Pietro   Pedri   was   16   years   old   and   decided   to   turn   his   passion   for wrought   iron   in   a   new   business.   The   activity   began   in   a   garage   (just   30   square   meter)   with   two   employees and,   in   1968,   the   amount   of   work   forced   him   to   move   his   company   in   a   larger   area   (around   170   square meters),   coming   to   have   five   employees   and   a   machinery   fleet   in   constant   expansion.   1973   is   the   year   of change,   Pietro   Pedri   established   a   collaboration   with   an   important   Tuscan   industry   of   interior   lighting design.   Thus,   it   was   born   the   first   series   production   of   frames   and   components   for   chandeliers   and   lamps in classic and modern style. In   a   few   years,   employees   became   more   of   ten   units,   and   in   1979,   the   company   moved   to   its   current premises   (about   1.000   square   meters),   growing   from   700   to   1,000   square   meters   over   the   years. Customers   diversify   their   demands,   inducing   the   company   to   acquire   new   knowledge   in   order   to   maintain the   high   level   of   quality   in   the   commissioned   products.   Through   collaboration   with   external   consultants, Pietro Pedri continuously updates and instructs its employees. In   the   following   years,   market   requirements   have   induced   the   company   to   expand   the   production   in   the bathroom-furnishing   sector,   developing   lamps   for   mirrors,   bath   accessories   in   metal   and   complements   for indoor   furniture.   During   the   90s,   the   company   responded   positively   to   the   request   of   sports   industry   and introduced the production of high quality cups and trophies. The   Pedri   of   Pietro   Pedri,   officially   became   a   family   business,   when   in   1976   Pietro’s   wife,   Anna   Maria, joined to the workforce oversees the management of warehouse. In   1997,   the   eldest   daughter,   Rossana,   enters   in   the   family   business   and   she   deals   with   the   office administration. In   2001,   the   youngest   son,   Davide,   began   to   work   in   the   family   business   and   after   an   initial   experience   in the   production   department   and   in   the   assembly   and   packaging   department,   he   formed   and   continues   to lead the technical-sales department. To   date,   the   company   emerges   on   an   area   of   about   2.500   square   meters   with   modern   and   sophisticated machines and it has a staff of 12 employees specialized in different tasks. Collaborations   with   trusted   companies   specializing   in   high-tech   processing   allow   to   optimize   the   cost   of ownership. Today,   as   in   1967,   the   objective   of   the   Pedri   of   Pietro   Pedri   is   to   provide   to   its   customers   excellence products and a dedicated support team in order to offer the quality behind the Made in Italy .
